The three things I need to know to answer my question are:
1. Why do people want to stop violence in games?
2.How many games, songs, movies, shows, and websites are considered violent?
3.Do products that are violent sell more then products that aren't?

Should violence in media be banned?

I think that violence should be banned only if your parents don't allow it. If you can know the difference between media and phyiscal violence and not put them together, you should be fine.
